# Delete Guard Rail

> Delete a guard rail.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Deleting a guard rail will remove it from all attached sources (personas, pathways, inbound numbers). Calls using those sources will no longer be monitored by this guard rail.

### Headers

**authorization** `string` *required*

Your API key for authentication.

### Path Parameters

**guard\_rail\_id** `string` *required*

The unique identifier of the guard rail to delete.

### Response

Returns a `204 No Content` response on success.
