# Cancel Port Request

> Cancel an in-progress number porting request.

### Headers

**authorization** `string` *required*

Your API key for authentication.

### Path Parameters

**id** `string` *required*

The port request ID to cancel.

### Response

**canceled** `boolean`

`true` if the port request was successfully canceled.

Port requests can only be canceled before they reach the `completed` status. Once a port is completed, the numbers have already been transferred.
