# Delete Issue

> Permanently delete a triage issue.

## Overview

Deletes an issue and everything attached: resources, flags, relations, alert bindings, comments, Norm sessions. The underlying calls, SMS conversations, and files are not affected. To take an issue off the board without losing it, [update](https://docs.bland.ai/api-v1/patch/triage-issues-id.md) `status` to `closed` instead.

## Path Parameters

**id** `string` *required*

Internal UUID of the issue to delete.

## Response

Returns `204 No Content` on success with an empty body. Subsequent calls to [Get Issue](https://docs.bland.ai/api-v1/get/triage-issues-id.md) for the same ID return 404.
