> Upload a text file as a new knowledge base item

Upload text files along with optional metadata like name and description.

### Headers

**authorization** `string` *required*

Your API key for authentication.

### Body

**file** `file` *required*

The text file to be uploaded. Must be a .pdf, .txt, .doc, or .docx file.

**name** `string`

Name for the uploaded text file

**description** `string`

Description for the uploaded text file
