# Connect Cursor to the Bland MCP server

> Connect Cursor to your Bland account with a one-click install or an mcp.json entry, or use the Norm plugin for Bland Agents work.

The Bland MCP server is a hosted, streamable-HTTP server. Every client needs the same two values:

* **URL:** `https://api.bland.ai/v1/mcp`
* **Header:** `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_BLAND_API_KEY`

Get your key from the [dashboard](https://app.bland.ai/dashboard/settings). [Sign in with Bland](https://docs.bland.ai/integrations/mcp/oauth.md) will apply to Cursor once dynamic client registration is available; until then, use an API key. Setting up a different tool? ## Setup

For Bland Agents work, see the [Norm plugin](https://docs.bland.ai/integrations/mcp/norm.md) setup instructions. For the server alone, use the one-click install:

After installing, open **Cursor Settings → MCP** and replace `YOUR_BLAND_API_KEY` with your real key.

Or add it by hand to `~/.cursor/mcp.json` (global) or `.cursor/mcp.json` in your project:

Restart Cursor (or toggle the server in **Settings → MCP**) and the Bland tools appear in the agent's tool list.

>
> Tools that place calls or publish agents have real-world side effects. Keep Cursor's tool-approval prompts on for the Bland server rather than auto-approving everything.
